SSC Combined Recruitment 2016 Translator, Hindi Pradhyapak and Other Posts

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had released a notice for the Combined Recruitment of Junior Hindi Translators, Junior Translators, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination. All interested and eligible candidates can apply for this recruitment process before the end dates. Candidates have to visit the official website and read the notification then apply for it. Candidates can apply for this recruitment process till 28th April 2016.

Details of SSC Combined Recruitment 2016:

Department name: Staff Selection Commission (SSC)

Name of Posts: Junior Hindi Translators, Junior Translators, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak

Required Qualification:

(i) Junior Hindi Translators/ Junior Translators:

A candidate who will apply for it must have Master’s degree in Hindi with English or elective subject or as the medium of an examination with a Diploma/ Certificate in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years experience of translation work in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.

(ii) Senior Hindi Translator:

Candidates have to possess Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or elective subject or as the medium of an examination with a Diploma/ Certificate in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or three years experience of translation work in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking

(iii) Junior Translator / Junior Hindi Translator in subordinate offices who have not yet adopted Model RRs of DoP&T for JT/JHT:

Candidate needs to have Master’s degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level OR Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as main subjects

(iv) Hindi Pradhyapak:

Candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at degree level.

Or

Master’s degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with Bachelor of Education from a recognized University/Institute

Or

Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a reputed University

Age Limit: 

Candidates have to be below between the ages of 30 years on 1 January 2016
Salary package:

Junior Translator in Central Secretariat Official Language Service (CSOLS):  Rs. 9,300-34,800 with GP Rs 4200

Junior Translator in M/o Railways (Railway Board): Rs. 9,300-34,800 with GP Rs 4200

Junior Translator / Junior Hindi Translator in subordinate offices who have not yet adopted Model RRs of DoP&T for JT/JHT: Rs. 9,300:34,800 with GP Rs 4200

Senior Hindi Translator in various Central Government Ministries/ Departments / Offices: Rs. 9,300-34,800 with GP Rs 4600

Hindi Pradhyapak in Central Hindi Training Institute (CHTI): Rs. 9,300-34,800 with GP Rs 4800

Junior Translator in Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ): Rs. 9,300-34,800 with GP Rs 4200

Junior Translator / Junior Hindi Translator in subordinate offices who have adopted Model RRs of DoP&T for JT/JHT: Rs. 9,300:34,800 with GP Rs 4200

Selection Process: 

Candidates will get selected through written test and document verification for this process.

Application Fee:

Candidates have to submit an application fee of Rs.100 by SBI challan/ net banking/debit card/credit cards.

There will be no fee for women candidates and candidates who are from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Persons with disability and Ex: servicemen.

How to Apply?

  1. Candidates have to visit the official website which is ssconline.nic.in.
  2. Then they have to make Part-I Registration by submitting asked details.
  3. Then they have to make Part-II Registration before the end date.
  4. Then have to take print of the confirmation page for future reference.

Important Dates:

The last date to apply for Part-I Registration will be 28th April 2016 by 05:00 P.M

The last date to apply for Part-II Registration will be 30th April 2016 by 05:00 P.M.

The examination will be held on 19th June 2016.
